Some shit is hard to blow off. Thanks anon for throwing me into a downward spiral I thought I got over.

Anonymous: "I most def wasn’t wearing anything scant."
She says as both of her sidebar pictures do a fantastic job showing off her larger than average breasts.

Lmfao! My ‘larger then average breasts’ are actually smaller then an a cup sweetie.
And um, thanks for pretty much telling me I deserved to get raped. You may now go burn in hell.

I hate how every feminist in the world likes to say that “rapists are the only ones in the wrong when it comes to rape.”
I’m not saying they aren’t in the wrong, but let me ask you this. How many women in pajama pants and t-shirts have you seen affected by rapists? How many times has a woman wearing normal street clothes been raped? I’m not saying they never have been, but the number of normal dressed women who have been raped is much less than the number of scantily clad women.
The statement “You’re asking for it if you go out dressed like a slut” isn’t that far off, either. You go to a party dressed like a slut, you may not be asking for rape, but you’re asking for attention whether it’s good or bad. Let me tell you how many times I’ve been raped or stared at or talked to like I was a piece of meat going to a party dressed in pajama pants and a t-shirt. Absolutely zero. Did my clothing hinder my good time? No.
Also, not slut shaming. I’m just saying. This bothers me all the time. Especially when I see women flipping their shit about how “one reporter said this that or the other about a rape victims clothing as if it had anything to do with their being raped.” I’ve got news for you, ladies. Your clothing has just about everything to do with how you come off to people. No one looks at me in my rather conservative dress and thinks “I bet she’s a dirty slut who wants to get fucked.” No, no. That’d be you, yes you, the girl in the dress so short I can see your labia, that they think that about.

/endrant

Holy hell, you are so off base that you’re on the freaking moon, first of all, I am trying very hard to contain the rage I am feeling after reading your post. I don’t suffer fools well and your opinion is first of all very foolish, and second of all it doesn’t matter if it’s your strong opinion.

As a matter of fact, I’m sick and tired of people running around acting like their opinion is the end all be all and acting like it holds as much weight as the truth, that’s not the case when your opinion goes against established facts.

You want to know the facts? Rape isn’t a crime of sex, it’s a crime of violence, it’s a crime of control, you want to know something else (and why this post set me off) - I know more women who have been raped at one point or another than women who haven’t.

Read that again. I KNOW MORE WOMEN WHO HAVE BEEN RAPED THAN WOMEN WHO HAVEN’T.

This includes friends, family, exes, co-workers, you name it.

You want to know what else, many of them didn’t report it.

Why?

Because of shit like this, because of people who judge others on how they dress or act or their sexual past. Who the FUCK is anyone to judge someone who’s body has been violated against their will it doesn’t matter how someone is dressed, if they are “promiscuous” flirty, or whatever, the rapist is ALWAYS in the wrong when he rapes someone. End of story.

Just off the top of my head, out of the people I have known who were raped, ONE of them were wearing “provocative” clothes at the time, let me see, I’m going to try to remember a few of the stories from friends and family (numbers instead of names to hide identity)

1 - Raped by a friend while hanging out at his house.

2 - Raped at a party by a guy who offered her a ride home.

3 - Raped at 13 by an older boy after school.

5 - Raped by a guy she had been out on a few dates with.

6 - Kidnapped in a mall parking lot, raped, dropped off miles away.

7 - Raped as a child by the guy checking the gas meter.

8 - Raped by her boyfriend’s best friend whom she had hung out with several times before.

9 - Raped by a family member.

10 - Raped by her husband.

11 - Date raped after making out with a guy and telling him she didn’t want to have sex.

12 - Raped in her home by an intruder.

- Okay, so here’s the deal, your mentality is the reason rapes go unreported, this is not an opinion, it’s a fact, deal number 2, any time someone says they don’t want to have sex and are subsequently forced to have sex, it’s rape.

Rape is NEVER the victim’s fault. THIS IS A FACT.

Agree. I know more girls who’ve been raped then those who aren’t. I have been. And I most def wasn’t wearing anything scant.
